Three Customers, One Consistent Standard
Careful Heating Work When the Job Is Not Straightforward
A new shower installation, an awkward heating fault and a visit from a returning customer may not seem closely connected. Read the reviews, though, and the same point comes through. Customers want to feel confident that the engineer will understand the job, deal with complications properly and leave everything tidy.
Daniel, Alan and Jon came to KD Jones with different requirements. Their experiences show how good workmanship includes practical problem-solving, sound judgement and the way customers are treated.
A Quick Summary
These five-star reviews cover a new electric shower, a difficult heating problem and work for a customer who returned after several years. Each customer appreciated the care taken and felt comfortable with the people carrying out the work.
Fitting an Electric Shower in a Tight Space
Daniel asked us to fit a new electric shower. The installation included getting the motor into a confined space, where there was little room to work. Kevin completed the job and Daniel shared a photograph of the finished installation with his review.
He wrote:
“Kevin fitted a new electric shower for us. Very friendly guy and excellent workmanship to get the motor fitted into a tight space!”
The photograph shows the motor and copper pipework fitted neatly inside the available cupboard. Work in a restricted area takes more thought because components still need to be positioned securely and connected properly.
Daniel was pleased with the installation and found Kevin friendly to deal with. Having work carried out at home is easier when the customer feels comfortable asking questions and knows that care is being taken.

A New Boiler Would Not Have Solved the Fault
Alan had a difficult problem with his heating. Replacing the boiler might have appeared to be the answer, but Adrian and Paul investigated the system and found that a new boiler would not have dealt with the underlying issue.
Alan explained:
“Adrian and Paul solved a tricky problem with our heating, saving us buying a new boiler, which wouldn’t have solved the problem anyway. Janet in the office was great at liaising with us. Really happy with their work and attention.”
Boiler replacement is sometimes the right recommendation, particularly when an older appliance has become unreliable or uneconomical to repair. It still needs to be recommended for the right reasons. In Alan’s case, a proper diagnosis prevented him from paying for a new boiler and still having the same heating problem.
The review also mentions Janet’s help from the office. With a more involved fault, keeping the customer updated is part of handling the job well, especially when further checks or another visit are needed.
Returning to KD Jones After Several Years
Jon had worked with Kevin some years earlier. When he later moved to Surrey and needed another job completed, he contacted KD Jones again.
His latest review shows that the new job lived up to what he remembered:
“They came as scheduled and on time, were very efficient & tidy, completed the job quickly. Nice guys to have in the house. Felt very comfortable and confident they’d do a great job, which they did!”
Technical ability matters, but customers also remember whether engineers arrived when expected, respected the home and were pleasant to have around. Jon felt comfortable during the visit and was happy to recommend us.

Confidence Built Through the Work
Daniel’s installation required careful workmanship in a difficult space. Alan needed engineers who would investigate before suggesting an expensive solution. Jon wanted the reliable, tidy service he remembered.
The connecting thread is confidence. It comes from seeing that an awkward installation has been completed neatly, understanding why a repair is being recommended and feeling at ease with the engineers in the home.
That confidence is supported by the office as well as the people visiting the property. Customers need useful communication followed by work that addresses the actual problem.
